I'm a marketer and podcaster, and the founder of Balbert Marketing. I host the Real Business Connections podcast network, where I interview leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives from around the world. Here's what has my attention right now.
Choosing relationships over networking
Most people think networking is the key to growing a business. I believe relationships are. Lately I keep coming back to the difference between collecting contacts and building genuine connections, why the instant pitch falls flat, and how the founders who actually listen are the ones who build something that lasts. It's not transactional, it's relational, and that shift changed everything for me.
Growing the Real Business Connections network
What started as a small project has grown into a full network of shows focused on learning, growth, and practical insights. Right now I'm putting my energy into the conversations themselves: sitting down with people like Mark Schaefer to talk through ideas worth sharing, amplifying the stories of others big and small, and reminding myself that the most human company wins.
Helping people find their voice
A theme I return to often: great ideas don't make leaders, communicated ideas do. Through Balbert Marketing I help businesses clarify their message, reach the right people, and build relationships with the community that shares their values. Most of that work is helping people uncover who they are, find their voice, and connect with the audience they're meant to serve.
